On today’s podcast, we are going to speak about Portuguese Diphons using the letter X. Diphons – or dífonos in Portuguese .

Dífonos happen when we have only one written letter that produces two sounds at the moment we are speaking. In Brazil, this phenomenon happens when we use the letter “x” in some words.

On today’s episode, we’ll talk about it and we’ll practice the pronunciation in Portuguese of the main words in which the diphon occur.
