Guesses of journalists about the Olympics 2016

Guesses of journalists about the Olympics
Hello and welcome to our Todo Mundo pod (in Portuguese) in which we are going to speak about guesses of journalists about the Olympics 2016
On today’s podcast we are going to speak on the guesses of journalists about the Olympics 2016. Last week, the Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo published an article with some journalist’s guesses about how many medals Brazil should win in the Olympic Games – Rio 2016. We’ll discuss this matter in this podcast
The same newspaper has published another article which tells us the history of Popole Misenga and Yolanda Bukasa. They are refugees from the Democratic Republic of Congo living in Brazil since 2013. The two will attend the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games and it seems they will also compete in the games for the team of refugees athletes.
We’ll talk about that on the second part of this episode too.
For those who love sports and want to learn new terms in Portuguese related to it, this podcast will be very useful in this regard.
Brazil, despite being the nation that hosts the competition, does not have great chances of winning many medals. However, the Brazilian Olympic Committee estimates that the country will be among the 10 countries with more chances in these games.
